Euphorbia 'Pineapple Head', known botanically as Euphorbia Bupleurifolia X Susanna cv, is a Japanese cultivar that adds a unique aesthetic charm to any plant collection. One glance at the cluster of tight, compact stems topped with short green leaves and you'll instantly see why it carries the whimsical moniker, 'Pineapple Head'. This hardy little plant stands proudly at a height of up to 15cm, perfect for adding character to borders, rockeries, and containers, or even serving as an interesting indoor spectacle in a well-lit area.

While its origins are Japanese, the 'Pineapple Head' is a hybrid between two Euphorbia species native to different corners of the world - Euphorbia bupleurifolia from Madagascar and Euphorbia susannae. The blending of these two results in a fascinating combination of their features. What truly sets this Euphorbia apart is its caudiciform nature - a thickened, fat caudex forms the base from which the cluster of leaves springs forth. It's an intriguing adaptation usually seen in plants from arid regions, and it provides a unique visual interest.

Caring for the 'Pineapple Head' is a rewarding experience, even for novice gardeners. Despite its exotic appearance, it's not demanding. It enjoys a good drink when its soil is dry and prefers to dry out between waterings. A spot with part shade would be ideal, but it can tolerate full sun depending on your location. Come winter, it prefers to be sheltered but will still stand up admirably to the cold.

Finally, a note of caution: like many Euphorbias, the 'Pineapple Head' has sap that can irritate the skin and eyes. Handle with care when tending to your plant.

In summary, the Euphorbia 'Pineapple Head' is an interesting and unusual plant, combining hardiness with unique aesthetics. It's a wonderful choice for anyone looking to add a touch of exotic charm to their home or garden without requiring expert horticultural skills.

Student Review
This book is an excellent introduction to the basic principles of insurance. We used this text as a supplement in our Intro to Act. Sci. class. It is very readable, easy to understand. Minimal mathematics required, some basic calculus concepts used, but only briefly. Don't let it's small size fool ya, it has plenty of information in there.

Good for lawyers and non lawyers alike
Format: Kindle
I recently read "The Tools of Argument: How the Best Lawyers Think, Argue, and Win" by Joel P. Trachtman and found it to be a valuable resource for improving argumentative skills. Whether you're a law student, practicing attorney, or interested in the art of persuasion, this book offers clear and practical insights. **Comprehensive and Accessible** Trachtman effectively breaks down complex legal concepts into understandable sections. The book progresses logically from basic to advanced techniques, using practical examples that make the content engaging and relevant. **Logical Structure** The book is well-organized into four main sections: the nature of argument, the structure of argument, the techniques of argument, and the application of argument. This structure aids comprehension and allows readers to build their skills progressively. **Practical Insights** The focus on practical application sets this book apart. Trachtman provides actionable advice with checklists, summaries, and exercises at the end of each chapter to reinforce learning and ensure readers can apply the techniques. **Engaging Style** Trachtman's writing is clear and approachable, avoiding overly technical jargon. His use of humor and personal anecdotes makes the content more relatable and easier to understand. **Versatile Application** While tailored for the legal field, the book's lessons extend to various professions and everyday situations. The principles of constructing and deconstructing arguments are valuable in many contexts, from business negotiations to everyday debates. **Conclusion** "The Tools of Argument" is a practical guide for anyone looking to enhance their argumentation skills. Trachtman's clear explanations and practical advice make this book a useful addition to any library. I recommend it for lawyers, students, and anyone interested in effective argumentation.
